Hydrogeology
Ashton Bennett are undertaking assessment of the cause and finding solutions to surface water problems on golf courses and sports fields installing suitable vertical and horizontal drains according to the type of soils present to enable the greens and playing fields to be utilised year round.
Drilling for water supply following a detailed assessment of the geology and hydrogeology underlying the site. The well was pump tested to confirm its ability to provide the water supply required and was completed with the approval of the Environment Agency.
Collection of silt samples from a lake prior to dredging to assess depth of silt, dewatering procedures, environmental nature of silt and suitability to compost silt rather than landfill.
